Ray & Sheila Feasey
As I think of Joyce I reflect back to Shirley Road, I was a scruffy young boy around 5 or 6 and this ‘Aunty Joyce’ would chat out of the window to me as I drove around in my peddle car. One time I had a home made cardboard watch on my wrist and she took me to the post office on the corner and bought me a real plastic toy watch, I was so happy with that watch. I have so many fond and fun memories right through adult life. The last time I visited which sadly for me was a couple of years ago we went for lunch and she was as buoyant as ever ‘ I am a bit wobbly on my feet at the moment but I am alright and I don’t need any help walking’ she said and with a big smile told me ‘and I have stopped smoking ‘
I will always remember Joyce and now as she passes to a better place her warmth and kindness will live on in Carleen and Dave and their family. God bless you Joyce xx
